Once the area is tested, the independent third party will provide a protocol for Smith & Sons to remediate the mold. The independent third party will then provide testing for a clearance report of work completed.

The Mold Remediation Process

Our technicians come equipped with the proper protective gear including disposable coveralls and a respirator. We set up a containment room to prevent the mold from spreading to other areas of your home or business. The mold is then carefully removed from your home using proper procedures to minimize the amount of mold spores that become airborne.
We also use negative air scrubbers to purify the air within the containment area and apply an anti-microbial agent to surfaces that have been impacted by the mold. When this work is complete, we run a clearance test to ensure all affected areas have been cleaned of mold and are no longer a threat to you and your family
